Doug Wagoner

President & CEO, LMI

Since Doug Wagoner became LMI president and CEO in summer of 2020, he has witnessed the company being designated a top workplace in the area, overseen the acquisition of Suntiva and renewed a companywide focus on supporting underrepresented groups.

“LMI’s recent acquisition of Suntiva expands LMI’s digital and workforce solution offerings while furnishing new customer access in public health and defense, particularly the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Agriculture, the Defense Information Systems Agency, and the Army,” Wagoner said.

LMI has recently established six commitments to enhance opportunity, access and success at LMI for underrepresented groups in an effort to renew its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility. And The Washington Post recently ranked the company among the Top Workplaces in the largest companies category for the Greater Washington, D.C., area.

Why Watch

In fiscal year 2021, LMI generated over $419 million in revenue. Going into fiscal year 2022, the company is emphasizing expansion into the space market as well as strengthening the digital IQ of all 2,000 LMI employees through robust digital training.

“LMIers have not missed a beat,” Wagoner said. “We continue to excel in terms of contract wins, revenue and profitability, and we have an industry-leading low turnover rate. As we look to the next 60 years, I am inspired by the promise of LMI’s future knowing that we are well-positioned to solve our nation’s most complex challenges in supply chain, healthcare, resiliency, unleashing the power of data and helping JADC2 become a reality.”
