WashingtonExec’s Amanda Ziadeh sits down with Alicia Lynch, vice president and chief information security officer at Science Applications International Corp., to discuss the Defense Department’s interim rule change to embed the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification into DOD contracts, effective as of Nov. 30. Lynch shares how SAIC prepared for the rule change, including what needs to be done to pass CMMC Level 3 assessment from outside vendors down the supply chain. And considering SAIC serves the defense industrial base, it will have to qualify for CMMC Level 4 or Level 5 (the highest level), so Lynch dives into the types of requirements that entails.

Plus, learn about SAIC’s recently launched Cyber Threat and Intelligence Integration Center, the capabilities it has, whom it’ll serve and how the center could help SAIC reach certain CMMC requirements.
