Jenn Starkey

Vice President of National Security Portfolio, Amivero

After three months at Amivero, Jenn Starkey took on the responsibility of overseeing the delivery teams in the civil portfolio. This expanded role reflected the CEO’s confidence in her contributions and her alignment with Amivero’s core values: Human-Centered, Data-Driven, Passion for Service, Smart Accelerated Solutions and Energy is Everything, Starkey said.

“Ensuring exceptional delivery and service through a united, servant leadership is how I support our clients in national security,” Starkey said.

Founder and CEO Olivia Trivisani Bowker said Starkey is an exceptional leader.

“Her care for people, focus on the mission and partnership with our clients has led to an expanded leadership role from national security to all of delivery,” Bowker said. “The remarkable balance of human-centered and data-driven approach she has taken so quickly in her day-to-day decisions is impressive and has shown a ripple effect of growth in the company and her people.”

Why Watch

Starkey’s team is scaling its contributions to DHS and other national security agencies, with DHS recently awarding it four additional contracts totaling over $115 million.

“As a small business that’s just six years old, my team is focused on readying our operations, deepening our industry partnerships, onboarding additional best-in-class talent, and more, to deliver the same level of value at this increased scale, while maintaining the human-centered, data-driven approach that has been key to our success,” Starkey said. “We will springboard off the new wins of 2024, more committed than ever to driving innovation and providing solutions tailored to the unique needs of national security’s mission-critical environments.”

Her favorite quote is, “Team culture drives success.”

Fun fact: Starkey was a member of the USA Women’s Rugby Sevens Team for over three years, including playing in the inaugural 2009 World Cup in Dubai where the team brought home the bronze.
