Jen Swensson

Vice President of People, Casepoint

Achieving a 99% participation rate in Casepoint’s recent employee experience survey stands out as a significant milestone in Jen Swensson’s career. This unprecedented level of engagement reflects Casepoint’s deep commitment to prioritizing employee experience and actively listening to the team. With 92% of employees willing to refer Casepoint to a friend, the company is confident it’s heading in the right direction, she said.

“The employee experience is at the center of everything we do at Casepoint,” said Casepoint CEO Haresh Bhungalia. “Jen has embraced this philosophy and is integral in elevating the employee experience, as we enter the next phase for Casepoint. Of all my years running multiple companies, Jen is the best HR professional I have ever worked with. It is an honor to have her on the team.”

Why Watch

In 2024, Swensson and her team are heavily focused on a comprehensive assessment of Casepoint’s employee experience and the systems that support the company’s core employee strategy. By the end of the year, Casepoint will have completely revamped its talent acquisition, learning, feedback and engagement systems. The company is also enhancing its time-off policies to better support employee wellness and launching its first affinity group, the Casepoint Women’s Network.

“I am incredibly proud to have joined Casepoint, an organization that understood the value of its people even before I arrived,” Swensson said. “The support I’ve received across the company is unmatched, and the culture of kindness and mutual support makes every day at work a genuinely human experience.”

Fun fact: Swensson’s path to HR was far from traditional. While working full-time as an office manager, she attended George Mason University in the evenings, initially pursuing a degree in graphic design. After eight years of perseverance, she realized her true passion was in supporting employees and helping them achieve their career goals. Swensson credits her grit and determination to her boss at the time, Doug Strahan, who encouraged her to pursue further certifications and stay committed to her journey.
