Dan Corbett

CEO, Valiant

Valiant’s most notable recent accomplishment is achieving the largest backlog in its history. This milestone results from retaining all its key recompeted programs and expanding its customer base into new areas. This success reflects the team’s commitment to surpassing expectations in quality and cost-effectiveness.

Some of Valiant’s major accomplishments include securing the Department of Defense Language Interpretation and Translation Enterprise II CENTCOM program ($650 million), facility modernization and operations services at Ft. Liberty ($41 million), the Chemical Management Services contract at DLA Corpus Christi ($50.8 million), the DTRA Red Cyber program ($18 million) and several contracts supporting the intelligence community. Most recently, Valiant was awarded a significant project worth $118.5 million, providing the Air Force personnel in the Pacific with advanced simulator and academic instruction.

“At Valiant, our focus is, first and foremost, on delivering the solutions that enable the Warfighter to achieve their mission,” Corbett said. “The success we’ve seen is more than just numbers on a page – it’s the fuel that propels our drive to make the world safer. I believe 2024 will be a transformational year for Valiant, and I look forward to what the future holds.”

Why Watch

In 2024, Corbett and his team are concentrating on their strengths — providing high-quality training and support for military personnel. Valiant anticipates significant growth, as it’s making careful investments to naturally expand its business this year. The company aims to enhance its services in areas like military training, language support, facility modernization, intelligence, life support and national security, for current and new clients in the U.S. and allied countries. This effort is to ensure customers receive the best possible services.

Fun fact: “I am always on the move,” Corbett said. “Walking fuels my creativity, clears my head, and keeps me energized, especially while I’m on calls. It’s not always possible, but I highly recommend it whenever it is.”
