Wanda Miller
Vice President of Sales for Navy and Marine Corps, Epoch Concepts
One of Wanda Miller’s biggest recent achievements includes advancing the implementation of Flank Speed Edge (the Navy’s Azure Local HCI solution designed to extend Flank Speed capabilities to the tactical edge) for PAE Mission Systems.
She’s also expanding the platform to integrate Flank Speed Mercury for IL6 capability at the edge. As one of Epoch Concepts’ top two revenue-producing leaders, Miller helps drive the company’s continued growth, which resulted in the recently announced expansion of the company’s Colorado Springs location.
“Supporting the Navy and Marine Corps mission is deeply personal to me,” Miller said. “That’s why I am especially proud of the work our team has done alongside PAE Mission Systems to help advance Flank Speed Edge across the shore and afloat environments, enabling secure cloud access at the tactical edge. As Epoch Concepts continues to grow, including our recent Colorado Springs expansion, I’m proud to help lead a team focused on solving real operational challenges for the warfighter.”
Miller and her team are also helping customers operate more efficiently by assisting them to modernize infrastructure securely while facilitating the migration of legacy applications to the cloud in a way that supports both readiness and long-term mission success.
“Our involvement with Cattle Drive initiatives like this is helping the Navy eliminate tech debt that has accumulated over the years,” Miller said.
Why Watch
Miller’s team is heavily focused on helping Navy and Marine Corps customers modernize securely while improving operational readiness and access to mission-critical data in complex environments. They are currently working with mission owners to assist in zero-trust-enabled legacy application migration to the cloud.
“As such, we are helping to facilitate Cattle Drive, the project focused on eliminating duplicative infrastructure and applications across the Navy,” Miller said.
Fun fact: Miller is a proud mother of four and a grandmother of three. As empty nesters, they recently welcomed a new baby to their home: Bentley, an English Cream Retriever puppy.
