Paul Villella, HireStrategy

WashingtonExec Three Pieces of Advice Series:

“If you could give your kids only three pieces of advice, what would they be?”

Today’s advice is from Paul Villella, President and CEO of HireStrategy, a full-service direct hire and executive search firm.

1. Remember, when all is said and done, you only have one life and you should live it to the fullest. Find happiness in every day, love your family and friends with your whole heart and do what you can to help others.

2. Strive to make a living doing something you love. Having passion is the difference between waking up for work because you have to, and jumpstarting the day because you can’t wait to get started.

3. I can’t be here forever, I would if I could but there is that circle of life thing. While I’m here I will make things OK,  but you must learn to stand on your own two feet, so when I’m gone you can be happy and know that you are wonderful.
