The General Services Administration has appointed Adam Shnider, executive vice president of assessment services at Coalfire, as a representative member of the Federal Secure Cloud Advisory Committee. His 3-year term began May 15.
The committee advises GSA, the FedRAMP Board and federal agencies on secure cloud adoption. As an independent assessor, Shnider brings expertise in streamlining FedRAMP, improving cloud security and advancing government IT modernization.
“Adam’s appointment to the FSCAC is not just an honor for Coalfire, it’s a recognition of the critical role independent assessment providers play in shaping the future of secure cloud adoption in government,” said Tom McAndrew, CEO of Coalfire. “His insight into the operational realities of FedRAMP and his unwavering commitment to security assurance will help move the program, and the industry, forward.”
As a representative member, Shnider brings a trusted perspective from the independent assessment community. He supports the committee’s mission to improve FedRAMP processes, strengthen cross-agency collaboration and address challenges in cloud security authorization and compliance.
