STG Group, Inc. has hired retired Brig. Gen. Bill Scott as vice president of cybersecurity and secure information systems.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join STG, an industry leader in developing and implementing cybersecurity solutions for our governments most critical needs,” Scott said. “I look forward to leveraging both my years of experience in the cyber security industry and my career in the U.S. Army to advance STG’s capabilities in mission-critical environments.”

In this position, Scott will work in partnership with the sector general manager and STG senior leadership to establish and execute sector growth strategies, manage STG resources and develop solutions to secure highly sensitive, mission-critical national security networks.

“We are very excited to have Bill join and help lead the STG team,” said Phil Lacombe, STG president and chief operations officer. “His understanding of our customers’ critical national security missions, cybersecurity and information systems expertise and technical leadership accelerates our vision of increasing STG’s support for vital government programs and missions.”
