Executive Alan Weakley has today been named president of Sterling Global Operations (SGO). Weakley comes to SGO from Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) where he served as president of the company’s Defense Group since 2011.

Alan’s breadth of knowledge in running organizations and his proven leadership in bringing about strategic growth will be major factors contributing to the success of Sterling Global Operations’ strategic plan.”

While serving as President of CSC‘s Applied Technology Group from 2009 to 2011, Weakley led more than 8,000 employees who worked under U.S. government contracts for base operations support services, training services, aviation maintenance, and tactical and training range operation services around the globe.
Prior to CSC, Weakley held multiple positions with other organizations that include vice president and general manager of Engineering & Technology Services, for the URS Corporation in Md., and as a director of multiple divisions for EG&G Federal Services in Va.
