Pragmatics, a federal government services and solutions company based in Reston, Va., last week announced it appointed Brian Brennan to serve as vice president and deputy general manger of the company’s federal civilian division.
The former Pragmatics director of civilian agencies joined the company in 2010 and will be tasked in his new post with overseeing and directing the company’s IT service delivery for a client base that includes the Departments of Commerce, Homeland Security, State and Treasury.
He is also set to optimize the company’ s efficiency and effectiveness so as to grow the company’s business within the federal civilian division.
“Brian is a tremendous asset to our corporate management team,” said Joe Brock, the Pragmatics chief operating officer. “He is a strong leader with a demonstrated ability to deliver the exceptional service and dynamic performance our clients need, while maintaining a focus on continued innovation.”
Prior to joining Pragmatics Brennan held a post at Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. where as program director he led programs for the Transportation and Labor Departments.
The company promoted from within in April with the appointment of ten-year-Pragmatics-veteran Sean Cohan to Vice President of the company’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG).
