Peraton has appointed Tom Terjesen as senior vice president and chief information officer.

In this role, Terjesen will lead Peraton’s IT organization and its strategy to ensure proactive and consistent technology support to growth, financial, employee experience and operational objectives.

He will also serve as the senior IT advisor to Peraton’s executive leadership team.

“Tom is widely respected across our industry for his business and technical acumen,” said Stu Shea, Peraton’s chairman, president and CEO. “He understands our company and the critical role IT plays in our support of customers’ missions of consequence. We’re very excited to welcome Tom back to Peraton.”

Terjesen is returning to Peraton after serving as senior vice president and CIO at ASRC Federal, where he led IT function and strategy execution. Following the 2021 acquisition of Perspecta, he became Peraton’s vice president of IT.

Earlier in his career, he held IT leadership roles at Vencore, BAE Systems, Inc. and AIG.
