Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. has appointed Ashutosh Gokhale as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience in the defense and government services sectors.

Most recently, Gokhale served as CFO of HII’s Mission Technologies division, where he helped grow annual revenues to $3 billion, improved profitability and strengthened cash position while leading the integration of the Alion acquisition, modernization of enterprise systems and an overhaul of the internal control framework. Prior roles include leadership positions at Maximus, Emcor Group, US Airways and Verizon.

Gokhale holds a B.E. in mechanical engineering from Amravati University, an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Business School. He is a CPA and recipient of the 2024 Public Company CFO of the Year award.
