Michael Zaramba Joins Pragmatics as Chief Financial Officer

Pragmatics has announced that Michael Zaramba has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Zaramba will report to Pragmatics Chief Executive Officer Dr. Long Nguyen.

Pragmatics is a leading provider of services and solutions for federal government customers, and in his role as CFO, Zaramba will be responsible for the company’s financial operations, including corporate accounting, financial strategy, and business planning. He will also oversee tax functions and corporate acquisitions.

“We are pleased to welcome Michael to our executive management team,” said Dr. Nguyen said. “He is a proven leader who has been instrumental in supporting corporate growth and expansion in service company environments for more than 20 years. He will play a key role in achieving Pragmatics’ long-term financial goals, and his track record of success will be invaluable as we continue to focus on our growth strategies. We look forward to his contributions.”

Zaramba, whose expertise includes finance and accounting, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management and compliance, served as CFO and later as Chief Strategy Officer at Stanley, Inc.

During his tenure, Zaramba was a key contributor to the company’s growth and was instrumental in transitioning Stanley from a privately held enterprise to a public company. Most recently, he was President of Altron, Inc., an information technology (IT) services firm serving the federal market.
