MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), which operates its national capital headquarters in Vienna, Va., announced Tuesday that Martin “Marty” Howard has been appointed vice president of its C4ISR and Homeland Security Division for MacB Gray Enterprise Solutions.

Based out of the company’s Aberdeen Proving Ground office located in Aberdeen, Md., Howard will report to Dennis Werth, president of MacB GES.

“Marty has been an integral part of the Aberdeen community and brings 35 years of Army and industry experience to MacB,” Werth said. “His demonstrated leadership, technical expertise, customer support and business development experience will be an asset to us as we actively increase our presence at CECOM and the APG.”

MacB is a national security company that delivers advanced engineering services and product solutions to defense, intelligence, homeland security and federal agencies.

Howard will be responsible for increasing growth opportunities throughout MacB’s existing U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), C4ISR, homeland security and other DoD and federal customer base. He will also be responsible for expanding MacB’s strategic business footprint and cultivating critical relationships with government and key industry partners, according to the company.

Prior to joining MacB, Howard was the director of Business Development, APG for USfalcon, Inc., where he identified and qualified a pipeline of more than $900 million in C4ISR, modeling and simulation and other opportunities. Before joining USfalcon, he held senior-level business development and management positions at Applied Research Associates, URS Corporation, Titan Corporation, Applied Research Laboratories, University of Texas and Teledyne Brown Engineering.

Howard is a former United States Army field artillery officer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in general engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

In addition to MacB’s Vienna office, it operates an additional headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.
