National security company GRVTY has appointed retired Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Ryan Heritage to its advisory board to help guide the company’s corporate strategy.

“With decades of service and distinguished achievement in national security, Ryan brings extraordinary leadership and experience to GRVTY,” said Katie Selbe, GRVTY CEO. “From leading Marines in the field to commanding cyber, space, and information forces – and culminating as Director of Operations at U.S. Cyber Command – he offers unparalleled insight that will strengthen our corporate strategy as we expand capabilities and technologies that advance and accelerate national security.”

Heritage’s career began as an infantry officer serving with both the II and III Marine Expeditionary Forces, as well as several supporting establishment and joint commands. He later commanded the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and Western Recruiting Region, followed by command of Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, Marine Corps Forces Space Command and the Marine Corps Information Command. He retired after serving as director of operations, J-3, U.S. Cyber Command.

Heritage will join Dave Abba, Phil Root and Dave Sterling on the GRVTY advisory board, which provides counsel on corporate strategy and direction.
