Everfox has appointed John DeSimone as chief operating officer to lead the company’s global technology organizations, accelerate innovation, and partner with leadership to advance its trusted information platform and high-assurance cybersecurity portfolio.

“Everfox has earned the trust of customers operating in some of the world’s most demanding environments,” said DeSimone.

“As those missions become increasingly complex, the ability to rapidly innovate while delivering uncompromising security has never been more important. Everfox is uniquely positioned to help customers securely access, share, and act on trusted information while enabling secure collaboration across mission-critical environments. I’m excited to join this exceptional team and help accelerate innovation, strengthen execution, and deliver even greater value for our customers.”

DeSimone brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience across defense, intelligence, cybersecurity and technology to the role. He most recently served as CEO of Nightwing, where he led the company through its separation from RTX and into its next phase of growth.

Before that, he was president of Raytheon’s Cybersecurity, Intelligence & Services business, where he oversaw large portfolios supporting government, defense and intelligence customers. He has also held senior leadership positions with CSRA, CSC and IBM.

Throughout his career, he has helped organizations transform the way they develop, deliver and scale technology solutions, bringing faster innovation, stronger customer outcomes and sustainable business growth, the company said.

“John has spent his career building and leading some of the most respected defense technology organizations in our industry,” said Dave Wajsgras, chairman and CEO of Everfox.

“His ability to align product strategy, engineering excellence, technology innovation, and customer delivery into high-performing organizations that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes makes him uniquely qualified to help lead Everfox’s next phase of growth. As Everfox continues evolving as a defense technology company and building the trusted information platform that enables secure collaboration, AI-powered operations, and decision advantage, John’s leadership will strengthen our ability to innovate faster, execute with excellence, and deliver even greater value to our customers around the world.”
