Empower AI has named Juan Toves chief growth officer, succeeding Paul Harrington, and tasked him with leading enterprise growth, business development and capture across defense and civilian markets.
“Juan is a strong addition to our leadership team,” said Jeff Bohling, CEO of Empower AI. “He brings deep market understanding, a strategic mindset, and a clear focus on mission and customer success. We are excited to have him leading our growth strategy.”
Toves has over two decades of experience in government contracting, including driving strategic growth and leading high-performing teams. He held leadership roles at Akima, CSRA and SAIC, and served on the AFCEA International board of directors. Most recently, he was vice president of business development at Peraton.
Toves said he’s excited to join a mission-driven team and sees the role as an opportunity to build on a strong foundation while advancing scalable, mission-aligned AI adoption across the federal market.
“Our focus is on turning AI strategy into measurable impact and fueling innovation, growth, and long-term mission success,” he said. “I look forward to collaborating with our leadership, customers, and partners to deliver meaningful results.”
Harrington will remain a member of Empower AI’s Advisory Board.
