DMI has appointed Peter Carlson to its executive leadership team as chief financial officer.
“Peter’s new role as Chief Financial Officer is an important development and marks a significant milestone in DMI’s journey toward continued growth and success,” said DMI CEO Rocky Thurston. “Peter goes beyond the nuts and bolts of finance. He is a keen corporate strategist who can continue enhancing the company’s value and brand.”
For the past seven years, Carlson was vice president of financial planning and analysis at DMI. In this role, he helped business leaders across the company deliver on their financial goals and played a pivotal role in the investment from OceanSound Partners in 2021, the company said.
He supported seven different acquisitions and participated in multiple systems transformations, including the transformation of the corporate financial suite.
Prior to joining DMI, Carlson spent 14 years with DXC in a variety of finance roles supporting both federal and commercial clients, as well as strategic roles in the corporate office.
