DMI has named Mark Olson chief financial officer to lead the company’s finance organization, serve on the executive leadership team and report to CEO Rocky Thurston.
“Mark joins us at an important moment in DMI’s growth journey,” Thurston said. “As we execute our growth strategy and position the company for long-term success, strong financial leadership is critical. Mark’s combination of financial expertise and operational leadership makes him an outstanding addition to our team.”
Olson brings over 20 years of experience leading finance and operations in government technology and global IT services. He has managed profit-and-loss portfolios with up to $1 billion in annual revenue and overseen corporate acquisitions that delivered consistent results.
He most recently was CFO and COO at REI Systems, where he oversaw all financial operations and drove profitability. Before that, he was vice president and general manager of Peraton’s Department of Homeland Security & Diplomacy business unit, a $600 million portfolio, where he led growth initiatives that converted $4 billion in pipeline to backlog.
“I’m excited to join DMI at such an important point in its growth,” he said. “DMI has a strong reputation for delivering mission-critical technology for its customers, and I look forward to partnering with the leadership team to scale the business, strengthen financial and operational execution, and support continued investment in our people, platforms, and customers.”
