Dr. Sam Nazari, Amentum
Amentum has named Dr. Sam Nazari chief AI architect. He’ll lead AI integration across the company and work with programs serving defense, intelligence, energy, space and commercial customers.

The role is new. Nazari will cover both customer-facing AI solutions and internal operational automation, align AI investments with customer demand and ensure deployments meet FedRAMP, CMMC and client compliance standards.
He has built solutions ranging from AI-powered supply chain systems to autonomous technologies for defense and tactical operations.
Nazari joined Amentum to lead AI initiatives at DARPA. Before that, he held roles at Scientific Systems Company Inc. and Systems & Technology Research, advancing AI and machine learning work for the Defense Department.
