Amid on-going budgetary pressure, federal agencies are tightening their belts as they aim to do more with less.

But while that climate poses obvious challenges for government contractors, the need to establish new executive relationships is as important as ever.  Last night, WashingtonExec hosted its fourth, invitation only, social event at Bertucci’s in Tysons Corner.  WashingtonExec‘s mission through these exclusive events is to connect executives of consequence in government contracting through targeted and trusted forums.

“WashingtonExec’s networking events continue to be some of the best in the area. The relaxed atmosphere combined with the diversity of the attendees delivers a fresh and rejuvenated approach to networking and camaraderie,” said Sid Fuchs, CEO of MacAulay-Brown, Inc. and author of Get Off The Bench.

Over 100 executives in federal contracting (no service providers), were able to mix and mingle with past employees, previous bosses, lost connections, as well as current teaming partners and competitors. Despite summer vacations and noteworthy August heat, attendees came early and left late.

Attendees included members of WashingtonExec‘s Mobility Council, Big Data Council, Leadership Council, Open Source Council, General Counsel, MARCOM Committee and the Federal Business Council.

Larry Rosenfeld of Sage Communications sponsored the sold-out event. Find more pictures from the event on WashingtonExec‘s facebook page.
