SAVE THE DATE: Next Steps For Security Reform

SAVE THE DATE: INSA and Government Executive Magazine will host an discussion titled, Next Steps for Security Reform. The discussion will take place on Tuesday, December 13th from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.

At this breakfast briefing, INSA will releases the Security Clearance Reform Task Force’s most recent white paper, “Next Steps for Security Reform: Industry Proposals to Enhance Efficiency and Reduce Costs in National Security Contracts.” The white paper addresses the costly delays related to security processes experienced by IC government contractors and recommends actions which would save billions in taxpayer dollars.

The briefing will feature:

  • Charlie Allen, Chair, INSA Security Clearance Reform Task Force; Senior Intelligence Advisor, INSA; Principal, the Chertoff Group; and Former Undersecretary of Homeland Security for Intelligence and Analysis
  • John Fitzpatrick, Director, Information Security Oversight Office (ISSO), National Archives
