The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) will host the annual GEOINT Symposium from June 22-25 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Drawing from the Defense, Intelligence, and Homeland Security Communities, the GEOINT Symposium is one of the largest intelligence events in the United States. The event will bring leaders with backgrounds throughout the Geospatial field, such as keynote speaker Robert Cardillo, Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
USGIF plans to have the widest array of keynote speakers and discussions in GEOINT Symposium’s history. From Doug McGovern’s discussion on transparency in the intelligence community to Cindy Ryan’s evaluation of legal and political intelligence trends, the GEOINT 2015 is set to cover every aspect of the community and engage the most veteran experts. In addition, the symposium is hosting many exhibit halls and breakout training sessions.
“Any aspect of the GEOINT Symposium—the general session keynotes, the Government Pavilion Stage, the exhibit hall, the training and education sessions—on its own could be a phenomenal event,” stated Keith Masback, CEO of USGIF. “By combining all of these elements into the GEOINT Symposium, USGIF aims to be as efficient and effective as possible in its mission while providing the best value and experience for our attendees.”
Along with the scheduled speakers, the symposium will also host book signings by Robert Kaplan and General Stan McChrystal (Ret.), both of whom will also slated to keynote the event.
