The 12th Annual Human Resources Leadership Awards (HRLA) Gala will take place Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va. Held annually since 2001, the awards celebrate outstanding service and strategic vision in the areas of organizational leadership, risk-taking, innovation, vision, communication, service to the broader community, and commitment to ethical behavior.
The awards also promote and advance excellence in the HR profession in the greater Washington, D.C. area. The nomination categories include:
- Innovation
- Leadership
- Mentoring
- Strategic Alignment
- The Sister Eymard Gallagher Award for Corporate Social Responsibility
- The Dr. J.P. London Award for Promoting Ethical Behavior
Emerging Leaders and scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships will go to students who are pursuing careers in the HR field.
