Government Computer News Award Winners Named

The Government Computer News (GCN) announced the winners of its GCN Awards last week, which honor the highest federal, state and local government IT projects and management teams.

The winners include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for its Vaccine Management and Tracking System; The General Services Administration for its Enterprise E-mail and Collaboration; The City of Boston for its Citizen Connect Project; and the Internal Revenue Service for its Modernized e-File.

A total of ten winners were announced along with 10 honorable mentions listed here. These award winners will be honored at a gala on October 19th, 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton in McLean, Va. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and last until 10 p.m. with the awards presentation beginning at 7 p.m.
