WashingtonExec’s JD Kathuria presents NCI Information Systems’ Clay Worley with a Chief Officer Award.

Clay Worley, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for NCI Information Systems, has won WashingtonExec’s 2022 Chief Officer Award for Chief Human Resources Officer in the Public & Private Company category.

WashingtonExec on May 11 unveiled the winners of the Chief Officer Awards, an annual program that recognizes the most impactful and innovative executives in government and industry sitting in the C-suite. Nearly 450 attendees gathered for the in-person luncheon held at the Ritz Carlton in McLean, Virginia.

Worley noted in his finalist Q+A with WashingtonExec that successful operations and caring for employees were paramount in 2021, and continue to be into 2022.

“We have demonstrated a tremendous agility in adapting to this pandemic and ensure that our employees are engaged, healthy and continuing to drive the innovation for which we are known,” Worley said. “We demonstrated our agility and ability to connect with our successful pursuit: the win and onboarding of the General Services Administration’s Digital Innovation for GSA Infrastructure Technologies contract — the largest contract in NCI history.”
