Springfield, Va.-based professional services company Information Innovators Inc. (Triple-i) announced July 12 that it has been awarded a five-year, prime contract by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for web services support with a $100 million ceiling.
“We will continue providing mission-critical support for the FDA’s Internet and intranet as well as cutting-edge solutions for emerging FDA needs in the areas of web content management, search and application delivery,” Triple-i’s Agile Development Solutions (ADS) Division Manager Ted Schmitt said.
“The WCMSSS contract builds upon Triple-i’s 20 year relationship as a strategic partner with the FDA,” Triple-i CEO Steve Ikirt said. “Our domain expertise will help the FDA effectively meet its mission and provide our nation with the services necessary to inform and protect our citizens.”
The Web Content Management System Support Services (WCMSSS) contract is a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) that expands on work being performed by Triple-i on its predecessor contract. The contract calls for Triple-i to support the exponential growth of fda.gov and the FDA’s growing demand to place information on the Internet.
