SOS International LLC (SOSi) announced May 24 the addition of David R. Shedd to its Board of Advisors.
“With our recent award of a contract supporting U.S. government counter-narcotics and counter-trafficking operations, David’s experience in the intelligence community and Latin America closely align with our expansion objectives over the next several years,” SOSi President and CEO Julian Setian. “We’re very excited to have him on our team.”
Shedd brings 33 years of government experience to the position. He most recently served as Deputy Director and Acting Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), from which he retired in February 2015. Shedd’s also served as Deputy Director for Policy in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Intelligence Programs and Reform at the National Security Council. He was posted in the U.S. Embassies in Costa Rica and Mexico for nearly 10 years and held a variety of senior management assignments within the CIA including Chief of Congressional Liaison.
SOSi’s Board of Advisors is comprised of leaders from the business, defense and government sectors. It provides the company with strategic advice on matters of leadership, growth and governance.
