Retired Colonel Jose A. Rivera has been named Director of Corporate Strategy at Herndon, Va.-based Cascades Technologies, Inc. Leading market assessments, business growth strategies and aligning portfolio capabilities with corporate business objectives will be among the responsibilities that Rivera will be charged with.

Rivera has served over 25 years in the United States Air Force where he worked in the communications/cyber and political military affairs fields at various levels. Most recently Rivera served as Director of Cyber Strategy for Chugach Government Solutions where he developed the company’s capabilities and qualifications in the area of cyber.
