Capstone Corporation announced Feb. 29 that the company was awarded a prime contract to implement and maintain information resource management solutions through the performance of program management; help desk services; field services; information assurance compliance support; applications and system support; projects and new work services; and enterprise video teleconference support to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations and selected components of Secretary of the Navy and subordinate echelons. The contract is worth $25.8 million over a five year period.

“We are honored to be selected by the OPNAV CIO to deliver expert technical support to the Navy operating forces and shore establishment,” Capstone CEO Richard White said. “This award is a testament to the excellent capabilities of our team and builds upon our extensive and broad history supporting the Department of Navy.”

“This win strengthens our credentials in the Navy cyber and information technology competencies and positions the company for further expansion into the Navy and Department of Defense cyber community,” Capstone VP for Cyber and Information Technology Wendy Martin said.
