Intelligent Decisions, Inc. (ID) was included in Inc. Magazine’s 2011 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. This is the third year in a row that ID was a part of the elite list. The company jumped almost 250 spots compared to previous years. Last year, ID ranked No. 2168 compared to this year’s No. 1920. These rankings are based on a percentage of revenue growth from 2007 to 2010, which grew by $234 million during that time period equaling a 134 percent increase.
“It is a distinct honor to be named to the Inc. 5000 list for the third year in a row – and to be among some of the nation’s leading entrepreneurs and innovators,” said Harry Martin, president and CEO of ID. “Throughout the past 20 years, ID has set out to serve our clients in the Federal marketplace with a commitment to providing IT solutions and support that exceed expectations. We believe that is why our company has been able to thrive in today’s tough economic times.”
ID is a premier global systems integrator that has provided an extensive range of innovative, IT professional services, software, hardware and manufacturing solutions to the Federal government. ID partners and clients include the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Microsoft, Cisco and Dell.
The Inc. 5000 showcases the country’s independent entrepreneurs and their businesses, which have included national icons such as Spirit Airlines and Vizio. The median growth rate of this year’s Inc. 5000 companies is at a remarkable 94 percent. These companies are honored for creating more than 350,000 jobs in the past three years alone with an aggregate revenue reaching $366 billion.
“Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is,” said Inc. magazine Editor Jane Berentson.
