    Nominations are Open for the Women In Technology’s 17th Annual Leadership Awards

    Women in Technology (WIT), a not-for-profit, Fairfax, Va.-based women’s advancement organization, has announced the call for nominations for the 17th Annual Leadership Awards. Nominations will be accepted until December 11, 2015.

    Lisa Dezzutti, President of WIT said, “The Annual WIT Leadership Awards celebrates some of the most accomplished women in the technology industry, recognizing their trail-blazing impact on the technology field. Together, these women have innovated and guided their organizations to help achieve success throughout the last year, so whether a small firm or large public sector organization, we want to honor them.”

    The awards program honors outstanding women working in the Greater Washington, D.C. region who have been pillars of leadership and success in the technology industry. The Leadership Awards Banquet will be taking place on May 19, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, VA.

    WIT is seeking nominations in the following areas:

    Corporate Large Market Sector
    Corporate Mid Market Sector
    Corporate Small Market Sector
    Government
    Small Business/Entrepreneur
    Technical Leadership
    Unsung Hero
    Rising Star
    Women in Defense
