McLean, Va.-based Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) announced Oct. 22 that the company has been awarded NASA’s Langley Information Technology Enhanced Services II (LITES II) contract worth $200 million.
“SAIC has a long legacy with NASA, and we are excited to expand our support of NASA’s mission at Langley Research Center,” SAIC senior vice president and general manager of the Federal Civilian Customer Group Bob Genter said.
SAIC will provide Langley Research Center with a variety of IT support services in the areas of science and engineering applications, center infrastructure applications, data center support, business management applications support and IT project management support. In addition, the company will offer traditional IT services and specialized IT involving the development, maintenance and operation of science and engineering software used in modeling and simulation.
The firm-fixed-price, single-award, IDIQ contract has a five-year period of performance.
