WTPF – The Business Forum for HR Professionals released its 2011 Compensation Survey last week. The survey offers competitive regional pay information to more than 80 Washington D.C. area’s premier employers to human resources professionals that support government contracting, technology and professional services communities. The survey gives information on regional turnover rates along with recruiting, hiring and retention practices for cleared and non-cleared personnel.

The 2011 Compensation Survey includes more than 500 positions at various job levels including: Engineering, Telecom/Satellite, Information Technology, Sales, Professional, Executive, Project Management, Scientific, Admin and Support. Cyber Security and Geographic Information Systems were added to this year’s list.

WTPF – The Business Forum for HR Professionals was founded in 1960 to equip its members with the skills, knowledge and tools to produce HR solutions that positively impact business results. WTPF delivers high impact, quality services to members at a reasonable cost.

“We’ve used the WTPF survey for over 10 years; it’s a great source of data for our cleared positions that aren’t adequately covered in other surveys, and the companies represented in the survey are a good representation of our competitive field,” said Tina Hourihane, Sr. Manager, Compensation for Orbital Sciences Corporation.

The survey was managed by Pearl Meyer & Partners, a national compensation and survey consulting firm, and is available to members and non-members of WTPF. Those who subscribe gain access to new features each year. This year, a new data on demand feature and a user-friendly hardcopy version of the report was added. The 2011 Survey is available to purchase at the WTPF website here.
