Raytheon|Websense will host the 6th Annual Public Sector Cybersecurity Summit entitled, “A New Era in Cybersecurity,” this winter at the Hyatt Regency Reston.
The two day event, scheduled for Dec. 1-2, will provide an opportunity to learn about the state of cybersecurity and how to prepare for future threats.
Gen. Stanly McChrystal will deliver the keynote address on lessons in leadership on opening day. Sessions are available during the two days based on six different “tracks”:
- Managing Insider Threats
- Secure Information Sharing
- Security for a New Threat Landscape
- Advanced Analytics for Rapid Response
- Cross Domain Solutions: Technical Overview & Roadmap
- Triton and SureView Solutions: Technical Overview & Roadmap
WashingtonExec Founder and CEO JD Kathuria will serve as a moderator for the panel discussion, “Using Cross Domain Technology to Access and Transfer Data on Secure DoD and IC Networks: Use Cases,” which is scheduled for 2:45-3:30 p.m. Dec. 1.

JD, our primary objective at CyberCENTS is to train Cybersecurity defenders, and assess the security of companies’ infrastructures. If there is an open spot, I would like to participate on your Dec. 1st panel. On Dec. 2nd, I will be joining our Governor at the opening of the Woodbridge Center of Excellence during which we will demonstrate a cyber attack and the art of how to defend against the most malicious characters.
