    Siemens Government Technologies Names Barbara Humpton President, CEO

    Siemens Government Technologies, Inc. announced Aug. 31 Barbara Humpton has been appointed as president and CEO effective Oct. 1, 2015. Humpton came to SGT as senior vice president of business development in October of 2011 and just last year was appointed SGT’s first chief operating officer.

    Chair of SGT’s board of directors, Stan McChrystal said: “SGT is fortunate to have Barbara’s leadership and contribution to SGT’s growth for the past four years. There is no person more qualified to take our company into new markets.”

    Humpton brings more than 30 years of government market and federal industry experience. She previously held senior leadership positions at Lockheed Martin and Booz Allen Hamilton.

    SGT also announced that effective Oct. 1, current President and CEO Judy Marks has been named executive vice president, global solutions at Dresser-Rand, a Siemens Business. Her new role will have her overseeing the development and deployment of comprehensive projects and programs to meet client needs and drive growth. Delivering solutions in response to new market and customer trends is the primary focus of the Global Solutions Organization.

    “SGT’s Board of Directors thanks Judy for her leadership in forming SGT, driving collaboration across Siemens, and leading the growth and development of the federal business for Siemens for the past four years,” McChrystal said.
