Former White House CIO Vivek Kundra and Research Vice President for IDC’s Enterprise Platforms and Datacenter Trends Michelle Bailey will speak at this year’s Dell World 2011, a premier event for IT professionals who plan, deploy and manage enterprise technology. The event will take place in Austin, Tx. from October 12-14.
Kundra, current fellow at Harvard University, became the first CIO of the United States when appointed by President Barack Obama back in 2009. Kundra was instrumental in helping launching several reforms that include Data.gov, IT Dashboard and cloud computing.
Bailey specializes in forecasting the adoption of mature and disruptive datacenter infrastructure along with consulting with IT clients to evaluate the impact of future technologies on their IT strategy, operations and facilities. Bailey will be speaking alongside Brad Anderson, Senior Vice President of Dell’s Enterprise Solutions Group, regarding the latest in data center trends.
