Reston, Va.-based CENTERPOINT Inc. announced Feb. 20 that CEO Ed Silva has been named Vice Chair of the ACT-IAC Cybersecurity Special Interest Group (Cyber SIG).

“In today’s cybersecurity landscape, it is vital that government and industry collaborate to stay current on developing policies and technologies,” Silva said. “This knowledge empowers us to address ever-evolving cybersecurity challenges. I look forward to supporting this effort as Vice Chair of the ACT-IAC Cyber SIG.”

The ACT-IAC Cybersecurity SIG provides opportunities for industry and federal government to identify, focus on, raise awareness of and provide solutions to cybersecurity challenges.
