Management and consulting services provider The Ambit Group announced Sept. 18 that the company has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from the U.S. Department of Education to provide advisory and evaluation assistance for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Data Analytics.

“We are excited for this great opportunity to provide a meaningful service to the Department of Education,” co-founder and CEO Kim Hayes said in a statement. “In the current fiscal environment, the consultation and expertise that Ambit provides will help the Department of Education to identify the most efficient, cost-effective best practices for current operations, as well as anticipate future risk. ERM is about value creation, and this program will enable the Department to seize an opportunity through agile approaches.”

The Advisory and Evaluation Assistance to Enterprise Risk Management and Data Analytics’ goal is to support the advancement of performance accountability in national education grants through data-driven, risk-based oversight. The BPA will enable the Reston, Va.-based company to address the Department’s strategic and mission risks, while responding to ever-changing legislature and regulatory requirements, improving ERM practices and expanding data analytics.
