Washington, D.C.-based Vahna, a cybersecurity software and solutions company, announced Sept. 16 its receipt of an investment from international private equity firm International Investment and Underwriting (IIU). Vahna will use the capital to support continued growth, enhance its technology platform and expand its market presence.
“Bolstered by a team with unparalleled cyber experience and innovative breach detection platform, Vahna is well-positioned to seize an enormous market opportunity,” Brett Desmond, IIU’s representative on the Vahna Board of Directors, said in a statement. “In its short history, Vahna has already signed several key strategic partners and clients from myriad industries — energy and utilities to technology and healthcare — demonstrating that its intrusion detection and incident response software have broad application and demand.”
“Vahna is eager to expand our team and enhance our technology platform to satisfy the growing demand for our services,” Vahna’s CEO and founder Brendan Conlon said. “We are excited to have IIU’s investment and confidence, as they have a long and successful background in growing young companies.”
Vahna’s cyber security platform, Vahna EdgeTM, offers a new way of managing threat mitigation.
