Laurel, Md.âs Aquilent has named Brook Carlon as the companyâs Chief Human Resources (HR) Officer. Carlon brings 20 years of experience to Aquilent and will lead all HR and talent management activities within the company.
Aquilent provides technology services for the federal government including mobile and digital strategy, web content management and cloud computing.

Carlon has worked with technology companies in the healthcare and financial services industries to improve their workplace programs. Her background includes creating HR processes from the ground up for a start-up company to leading a worldwide HR team of 76 employees. Her global HR leadership experience was honed while working with employees in India, Japan, the Philippines, Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada.
Prior to joining Aquilent, Carlon served in senior roles at QuadraMed, Headstrong, Misys Healthcare, Cirrus Logic and other companies. She is a long-time member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
