WashingtonExec Summer Reading List Series:
It might not yet “officially” be summer, but with rising temperatures beckoning the start of patio cookout season, WashingtonExec asked area executives which books they planned to peruse this summer.
Dr. J.R. Reagan, a principal at Deloitte & Touche LLP, told WashingtonExec he currently has three books on his summer ‘must-read’ list with topics ranging from how ideas are spread, the new technology of wall street and the history of two Cold War warriors.
His selection is below:
1. Social Physics: How Good Ideas Spread—The Lessons from a New Science by Alex Pentland
2. Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt by Michael Lewis
3. Reagan at Reykjavik: Forty-Eight Hours That Ended the Cold War by Ken Adelman
Reagan also gave us his 2014 Market Outlook in January. Read that here.
