With only four days until the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) sixth annual awards gala set for May 1st, award nominees are buzzing in anticipation.

The gala will honor emerging and small government contractors and those who rely upon and support small business in six categories with Lawrence Executive Alliance of Professionals, LLC (LEAP) occupying a nominee spot in the “SECAF Award of Excellence” category for its achievement in the government contracting industry among companies earning less than $25 million in revenue.

The veteran-owned healthcare solutions staffing company was founded in 2007 and is led by military physician Dr. Clayton G. Lawrence.

The other five categories include: Government Contractor of the Year (under $6 million in revenue), Government Contractor of the Year ($6 to $12 million in revenue), Government Contractor of the Year ($12 to $25 million in revenue), Government Project of the Year and Small Business Partner of the Year.

“To be named as a finalist for the SECAF Award of Excellence is a testament to the commitment, dedication, and compassion that our exceptional medical professionals provide daily to our nation’s finest: our men and women in uniform,” Lawrence said in a company press statement. “As a veteran-owned company, our top priority is providing the highest quality medical care for our military service members.”

WashingtonExec spoke recently with SECAF Gala Co-Chairs Scott Brezler, Mark Moore and Cameron Hamilton ,about the awards ceremony which will take place at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. Access that here.
