    TeraThink Corporation Makes ‘100 Best Places to Work in Virginia’ List

    TeraThink Corporation, a provider of management and technology consulting services to the federal government, announced Tuesday that it was recently named fifth of the 2014 100 Best Places to Work in Virginia.

    The annual list of the Best Places to Work in Virginia was created by the Virginia Business and Best Companies Group.This recognition comes on the heels of being recognized by Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list as the 995th fastest growing company in the country. This is the fifth year in a row TeraThink has earned a position on the Inc. 5000 with an “Honor Role” recognition.

    “TeraThink takes great measures to develop a rewarding environment where employees feel valued as part of the team day one. We are thrilled with the recognition and continuously look for opportunities to enhance the work experience,” said Peter Menard, senior vice president of Operations. “When asked, employees consistently comment that their favorite thing about TeraThink is the people.”

    CEO and President Paul Lombardi leads TeraThink, a Native American-owned firm based in Reston. Executive leaders at TeraThink believe that its greatest asset is its employees, according to a company press release. The company offers a benefits package that includes 401(k) matching, a Care.com membership, a yearly $2,500 education budget, annual anniversary gifts, employee of the quarter awards, and commuter benefit and wellness programs such as 10,000 Steps a Day and The Biggest Loser.

    TeraThink also invests heavily in its infrastructure to provide the tools and resources that enable, empower and nurture a productive work environment for employees, according to the company.

    The statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places for employment in Virginia, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses. The 2014 Best Places to Work in Virginia list is made up of 100 companies.
