STEM + Women, a conference introducing young women in high school and college to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and its related fields, will be held March 25 at George Mason University’s Fairfax Campus at Dewberry Hall.
A special focus will be on the skills needed to navigate a global workforce.
Attendees will learn from students and professional women about STEM majors and potential careers. The event will also include a dialogue about issues that women face in the industry and solutions for empowering women to pursue their chosen careers.
Specific topics will include STEM related to education, careers, entrepreneurship, leadership, culture and remarkable women.
