Eagle Ray, Inc. has appointed Brian Stygar to be the company’s Chief Technology Officer and Gregory Williams as its Chief Strategy Officer.

Stygar and Williams come from Kore Federal, which was acquired by Eagle Ray on Dec. 3, 2013. Stygar served as Kore Federal’s CTO and Williams was a principal/owner of Kore Federal.

“The addition of Brian Stygar and Gregory Williams to the Eagle Ray executive team gives us the benefit of their vast experience in the federal information technology world and provides us with additional leadership to serve our customers and expand our services,” said Babs Doherty, president and CEO of Eagle Ray.

Stygar will be responsible for establishing Eagle Ray’s technical vision, developing the company’s strategy for technology platforms and partnerships and leading all aspects of technical solution development.

Stygar was recognized by the Northern Virginia Technology Council as the Government Contractor CTO Innovator in 2012. Prior to joining Kore Federal, Stygar was Co-founder, Executive Vice President and CTO at Ventera Corp. He began his career as a consultant with Cap Gemini America and Coopers & Lybrand.

Williams will focus on the company’s continued growth, working closely with the CEO to create, communicate and execute strategic initiatives and assist in the formulation, development and implementation of revenue-generating strategies. Prior to Kore Federal, Williams was an Account Executive at IBM focused on the Department of Defense. He also has held executive positions for two venture capital funded high-growth companies and was a Senior Vice President of operations for First Service Networks as well as Vice President of Strategic Development at Stars and Stripes Omnimedia. He began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
