YRCI, a veteran-owned professional services firm, recently announced a series of new contract awards with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the National Guard Bureau (NGB).
The Department of Health and Human Services, National Capital Region, recently awarded YRCI work under a 5-year, $10 million blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to deliver human resources (HR) services. HHS has begun utilizing YRCI’s assistance in the areas of staffing, recruitment, and processing; classification and position management; benefits; records management; and labor and employee relations.
Under the BPA with the Department of Health and Human Services, YRCI won a call order to provide HR services to the Food and Drug Administration. While YRCI bases its headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia, its team will perform all work at FDA’s Bethesda, Maryland, location in support of the contract, valued at more than $4.3 million.
Working in conjunction with FDA’s mission to protect the public’s health by ensuring the safeness of food and drug products, YRCI will assist the agency in enhancing its HR objectives, programs, and activities. At the end of September, the company began providing support in the following areas: position classification, employment and recruitment, employee benefits, personnel action processing, and HR information systems. YRCI plans to continue providing such services through the end of the call order’s final option year in August 2018.
In addition, The National Guard Bureau recently announced it awarded YRCI the NG-J8 Force Structure, Resources, and Assessment Support Services contract to provide operational support services. The five-year contract is valued at $32 million.
