Pragmatics today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Tableau Software. Pragmatics will leverage its Pragmatic Agility software capabilities and Tableau’s business intelligence platform to deliver high-impact analytic solutions for the federal government.

“Our government customers manage enormous amounts of data every day. Pragmatics is pleased that we can leverage our software development practices with Tableau Software’s suite of products to provide our customers with superior business intelligence capabilities,” said Joe Brock, COO at Pragmatics.

Pragmatics will leverage Tableau’s business analytics software to help customers discover valuable insights from their data and make better business decisions.

“We are happy to welcome Pragmatics to the Tableau Alliance Partner Program,” said Lynn Smith, vice president of Strategic Sales at Tableau Software. “Government data is complex and enormous, as are the challenges to those who work with it. Working with Pragmatics, we hope to make it easier for federal government customers to see and understand their data so they can make better, faster data-driven decisions.”

WashingtonExec spoke with Brock about his 2013 federal market outlook, business size, LPTA environment, buzzwords, big data and his leadership role within ACT-IAC earlier this year.
