MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) announced today that three of its employees were honored for their commitment to the Electronic Warfare (EW) and Information Operations (IO) industry by the Association of Old Crows (AOC) Kittyhawk Chapter. The award ceremony was held on June 4th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Beavercreek, Ohio.
For the second consecutive year, Michael Woods, Program Manager and EW Analyst at MacB, took home the Program Management Award. He received the award based on his significant contributions in managing the Air Force EW Capability Investment Strategy and other EW analytic efforts. He was also recognized for helping the Air Force meet its goals as outlined in the CSAF Electronic Warfare Vision 2030.
Mike Gangl, Senior Systems Engineer at MacB, was presented with the Electro-optical/Infra-red (EO/IR) Award and Keith Carter, EW Systems Engineer at MacB, was nominated to join the AOC Technology Hall of Fame. Eighteen members of the coveted AOC Technology Hall of Fame are current or former MacB employees. The high number of MacB inductees results from the company’s long history of work in Electronic Combat.
“MacB has a long history of successfully serving the Electronic Combat community, as demonstrated by our 18 members in the AOC Technology Hall of Fame,” said Tim Lawrence, senior vice president and general manager of MacB’s Advanced Technology Group. “The honor bestowed on Michael, Keith and Mike is a direct result of their high level of commitment to keep the Nation safe through Electronic Warfare and Information Operations.”
In addition, Keith Everly, EW Test Manager at MacB, was elected to a two-year term as President of the AOC Kittyhawk Chapter.
Winners of the AOC Kittyhawk Chapter awards are also entered to compete for national awards in their respective categories to be presented at the 50th Annual AOC International Convention and Symposium, which will be held October 27-30 in Washington D.C.
